About Kenzie

Wanting, taken seriously.

“A story about attention: the room, the pause, the yes that cannot be taken back.”

I write erotic short stories about adults in ordinary rooms who decide not to be careful.

Before this I captioned films on the night shift, which taught me to hear what a pause is for, and wrote copy for a small perfume house in Brooklyn, which taught me to name a feeling. Now I live in a third-floor walk-up in Hudson, New York, with bad heat, good windows, and a notebook full of things I’ve overheard in bars.

My stories are graphic. Everyone in them wants to be there.
